RLPA believes that athletic participation is an integral part to the common mission of our school and is viewed as an extension of our overall school programs. We hold the philosophy that participation in interscholastic athletics should be enjoyable with the purpose of benefiting students. Our sports league is developmental and competitive with goals of fostering the value of participation without overemphasizing winning. Additional goals of the league are to develop skills and an understanding of the chosen sport, develop an appreciation and respect for a team, as well as school, opponents, and officials.

Students must have a completed Sports Physical form submitted in HomeCampus.com to participate in RLPA Athletics.

Grade REquirements
Athletes will maintain a GPA of 2.0 with no more than 1 F. On Wednesdays, athletes attend study hall from 12:45pm until the beginning of practice in the cafeteria. Grades are checked every week. If students' grades fall below a 2.0 GPA or have more than one F, they are placed on academic probation for one week. They may still attend practice and games during that week. If grades have not improved by the end of the academic probation week, they are no longer able to attend practices or games and may only return to the team at the discretion of the coach once grades are improved and the minimum GPA is reached.
